Ooh, I’ll have to check them out! I had never heard of the Carmen San Diego Google Earth games - thank you for the suggestion!

My first FMV video memory was a game called In Medieval Times. You basically wandered around a medieval market and village talking to people in their shops or homes, and a mystery gradually unfolded the more people you talked to. I never played Ripper or 7th Guest or Black Dahlia as I was too young at the time, but went back to them later as an adult. You should check out the Carmen San Diego Google Earth games. They are very much the same feel as an FMV game. RH Badger.
