Nice summary of the legacy if MGS. I still marvel at Psycho Mantis, and clearly remember them making my Dualshock jump across the floor after telling me to put it down. Not ’Perfect’, but as near as anyone’s come in 50y of gaming. Like you said, a Masterpiece.
